Key Account Manager – English & Spanish speaking

On behalf of successful and well-established Danish SME company with a strong international presence, we are seeking a skilled commercial professional with international experience. The company’s products and solutions are based on advanced technology and are used globally in critical sectors where quality, speed, and compliance are essential – the product is a niche. As part of their ambitious growth strategy, they are now looking for a Key Account Manager to accelerate international sales and strengthen their position internationally.

The Position:

As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth in selected international markets. You will play a vital role in executing the export strategy within your branch, building strong relationships with distributors and key customers, and ensuring profitable growth.

Your primary responsibilities:

  • Developing, executing, and implementing the export strategy for selected product areas on a global scale.
  • P&L responsibility for the portfolio within your branch, including ongoing profitability optimization.
  • Key account management – developing your customers.
  • Negotiating with distributors and key customers – including annual negotiations.
  • Building relations and trust with partners, customers, and distributors.
  • Identifying new market opportunities and establishing strategic partnerships.
  • Providing market insights into the innovation pipeline and product development.

Who are you?

We are looking for a strong commercial profile with documented experience in international sales and export. You have business acumen, cultural understanding, and the ability to deliver results in complex markets. You are comfortable travelling, and you are motivated travelling 20–40 days per year.

This position is open to the less experienced Candidate who wants to progress his/her Career in a steep learning curve, as well as the experienced who is motivated using experience and insights to expand business.

Qualifications:

  • Commercial education eg. HD, Cand. Merc., MBA or a technical education within food microbiology, industrial microbiology or biotechnology with a commercial mindset
  • Experience in export and international sales – preferably in FMCG, food, or related industries.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, and if possible, Danish.
  • Strong business understanding and analytical skills.
  • Personal attributes: strong commercial mindset, relationship builder, structured, result-oriented, initiative-taker.
